ZipAir: Plane Fine

We took ZipAir, a budget airline from San Francisco to Tokyo. After many years of traveling on frontier, Southwest, etc., I feared for the worst when it came to the experience.
Overall, it was definitely a budget airline, with the experience was still better than other crappy airlines I've been on.
Because we were traveling in the middle of summer, few people wanted to go to Japan. Temperatures are in the '90s, it's the tail end of typhoon season. When they have set ourselves up for a very difficult trip, but it was the time that we had, and we are making the best of it.
I have always wondered if a neck pillow would be a good choice on an 11-hour flight. I splurged for one on this trip. I have never slept so well on an airplane. I can fall asleep anywhere, but having my neck feel good when I wake up as opposed to painfully crunching for the whole day after I fly is amazing.
What is even more amazing is that I spent a large amount of the time on this flight with free Wi-Fi access. I worked with Claude code to build this Trips and Journal Entry portion of my website while I was flying to Japan.
As time goes on it's going to become more and more common to have productive downtime, but here, at the beginning, it feels like magic. I didn't even bring a laptop with me. I coded the whole thing on my phone.
