Heading to Narita, Tokyo, and Asakusa

And away we go!

It's been a long time that we've been planning a trip somewhere new. We've taken a number of smaller vacations over the course of the last few years, a road trip last year, a week in Hawaii a few years ago. This will be the longest trip that I've taken since New Zealand in in 2017.

When I decided to leave Gusto, I knew that I wanted to find the time to take a trip. Even though I started a new job between them and now, I wanted to make sure that I took time to prioritize the things that matter to me. Thankfully, they are letting me take 3 weeks with my family.

The first stop is Asakusa, the kitchen district of Tokyo. We have the most important thing, a hotel.

All we have to do is land, get travel cards, take the train all the way to our hotel, and pass out at 10:00 p.m., which will feel like 6:00 a.m..
