Returning the Van

We woke up at Clark's Beach, cleaned the van, and played on the playground.

We headed out of town towards Auckland, stopping in King seat on the way where we grabbed ice cream. New Zealand has some wacky ice cream flavors, including Orange chocolate chip, hokey pokey, and boysenberry ripple. They are all hard to describe, I recommend you try them.

They also have a beverage called l&p, which stands for lemon and paeroa--not a fruit, but rather a mineral water from that part of the country.

We bid a fond farewell to our RV. It had done a great job, taking us 2161 km. It was only slightly leaky, slightly chilly, but overall we felt pretty good.

We hung out in the hotel, took showers, and slept.
