Hamilton for R&R

We've been going pretty non-stop for the last 9 days. We explored Auckland and got used to the time change, we visited craters, geysers, villages, and carvings. We've played on playgrounds, boats, beaches, and water parks. When we finished our laundry this morning, we drove to Hamilton and just relaxed the rest of the day. We had planned this a little, knowing that having a day to relax here and there does wonders for making you want to do more the next day.

We got an AirBnB with a yard and a nice kitchen. I cooked dinner while the kids ran around on the grass. They've got bunk beds just like at home, we've got a good place for the baby to sleep, and we've even got an extra room in case we need it. Anyone wanna come stay with us tomorrow night? Usually the kids eat their food and then want to do things, but tonight, they ate and ate until the food was gone. Either that's a sign that I cook buttered pasta noodles really well, or they were super tired from the running around all day.

Tomorrow we're going to the Waitomo glow worm caves. It's supposed to be a pretty long trek, almost 3 hours with a break for snacks. I hope the kids sleep well tonight, cause they're going to need all of their energy to not lose their minds in the raft tomorrow. I'm not sure how well the pictures will turn out, but we'll give it a shot. If nothing else you'll get dark video of kids making noises like kiwi birds. They say "AAAAA AAAAA EEEEE." I think all kids natively speak Kiwi. Our baby is super good at it.
